Isn't this Fruit Wreath stamp pretty? I thought it would look nice in all greens, green pears, apples, grapes and leaves. I stamped the wreath with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. The white back is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I used my needle point canvas as a guide to poke the holes in the corners and along the bottom of the card using my t!m holtz paper piercer. I used some gold brads to put in the center holes. The yummy ribbon is by Martha Stewart and I can't remember the online company that I got the gold headed pin from, geeeez, I need to start writing this stuff down before I put them away, sorry!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I told Lady LilyBean Lee she could help me, looks like she's sleeping on the job, probably dreaming about t!m holtz *snort*
Smiley from millan.netMy kitchen is going to be in shambles in the next few days.....ugh. But, the end result will be wonderful!
OCL-life is sweet sketch
Hi all! I did a sketch challenge posted by lilstamper over at Our Craft Lounge.
Go to the forums and click on Challenges, you'll find it there, come play along! lilstamper did a great sketch!!
Smiley from millan.net ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I used the new Life Is Sweet set by Our Craft Lounge, love those fun cupckaes! I paper pieced the the cupcake wrappers and glitzed them up with Dew Drops and beads. I colored the cupcake tops with my Copic's and did sewing everywhere, that was FUN! I added some pink lace along the bottom of the main image. I love my lace, I try to use when ever I can!
I used SU! Barely Banana CS, Frosted Teal by Prism, Neenah white and pattern paper by My Minds Eye. I put the buttons in the upper corners and they are threaded with Martha Stewart twine.
Can you believe it's almost Thankgiving? We had Thanksgiving #1 at my mom's yesterday, we all went out and ate with my family from Springfield, MO. It was good seeing them again!
Now for Thanksgiving #2 next Thursday, a lot to prepare for, I can't wait!! Mmmmmmmmm!
Have a relaxing Sunday y'all, thanks stopping by!Smiley from millan.net
Crafty ATC Swap!
Smiley from millan.netGood Friday mornin'!
I'm in another atc swap with some of my friends and I chose to make an atc tag using the new stamp set Christmas Joy from Crafty Secrets!
I love this new set, the possibilities are endless with this one! The sentiments, flourish and birds can be stamped inside the Christmas tree ornaments, like I did here. Love those sweet little birds!
I used SU! Confetti Tan for the atc base and paper from the Radiant Paper Pad. The ornament and #25 were stamped on Neenah white. I rubbed Ranger Distress Vintage Photo & Fired Brick on the Confetti Tan tag and then I stamped over that with Vintage Photo ink. I stamped the #25's from the t!m holtz Bingo stamp, punched them out with my 3/4" circle punch and shabbied up the edges. I put a drop of Glossy Accents on each one and then a put a clear button on top. The clear buttons were a flea market find, a baby food jar full of them, over 100 for .75!! I'm so thrifty, LOL!!! Then I glued those on paper clips with E6000 and clipped them on the paper.
I punched the snowflakes and distressed them with my Distress Old Paper ink and added the buttons. The tree is a Martha Stewart punch that I covered with Martha Stewart White Gold glitter. The ribbon is from a friend, I distressed it too with the Vintage Photo ink. I used my 1/2" circle and my tag corner punches for the top of the atc. I'm so anxious to get my Christmas/winter swaps, I know they'll be over the top!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I've been meaning to show you what I got at Mtn. View during the Bean Festival. They had all kinds of vender's set up selling their goods and there was a silver jewelry one with some gorgeous jewelry! In one of the cases was this tiny antique sterling silver pin cushion!! I almost hit the ground when I spotted it! The lady said she had it in her antique store when it was open a few years back. I took a picture of it on an ink pad so you could see the true size, isn't it darling?

I was supposed to take pic's of the outhouse races for my friend Suze and totally missed the race, I was to busy shopping...ugh. Sorry, Suze, maybe next year!

Gotta head out to work, have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

This week I chose the Holly Script & Christmas Mini #2 for the sentiment by Stamp Oasis from Rubbernecker Stamps. I made a holly flower, OK, holly does not make flowers like this, but, in my world there are holly flowers, LOL!

I used my Basic Grey Figgy Pudding paper again, you'll see a lot of this. I got it last year on clearance after Christmas, I love after Christmas sales!Smiley from millan.net I stamped the Holly Script stamp 4 times on Neenah white cardstock, colored them with my Copic's, cut them out and went around the edges with my Krylon gold leafing pen, glued them all together in the center, curled the leaves up and sprayed it with my mistletoe Glimmer Mist. I added some Robins Nest Dew Drops in the center. I did some stitching on the edges of the card, I shabbied up the ribbon with Ranger Distress Vintage Photo ink. The sentiment was stamped on a piece of green Figgy paper, cut out and adhered on a piece of red Figgy paper, I put it in the hardware frame and put Glossy Accents over it, I put some Martha Stewart gold glitter on that to give it some sparkle!

Crafty Snow Bunnies Ü

Good Friday morning! I'm ready to hit the road soon for work, then I'll be zooooming home to get ready for the baby shower I'm going to tomorrow. Did I mention I'm having a sweet baby grandson?! Yes, I am!! My son and his wife are having a baby boy in January!
Smiley from millan.netI saw him in an ultrasound a month or so ago, he was twisting and turning and picking his nose, yes, he really was, I asked the tech doing the ultrasound if he was really picking his nose, and she said he sure was, LOL!!! I can't wait to meet him!

Here is my Snow Bunnie card I made with the new Crafty Secrets Snow Bunnie stamp set.
This is the cutest set! I love the idea of little bunnies in a winter/holiday set! Another reason why I love Crafty Secrets and their vintage images!

I made a vellum card base and stamped the snowflake with white ink on the front and back of the card. I stamped the bunny sled , colored it with my Copic's and cut it out. I used my Martha Stewart icicle punch on white cardstock and put fine glitter on it. The snow on the bottom has chunky glitter on it. The bunnies and snow are adhered on paper from the Crafty Secrets Pastel Paper Pad.
Here is the inside of the card. White cardstock to write your message on. I also put a white piece of cardstock on the inside top to hide the adhesive from the front that shows through to the inside, does that make sense?

I hope you have a super Friday, thanks for stopping by!
