Party Challenge ~ Crafty Secrets

Edit - I've been asked about the feet on the tea box, I forgot to add the link on where to buy them. I've highlighted it below in the supply section, so sorry!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's the Crafty Secrets design team challenge again.
This month we have a party theme and I decided to do a Tea/Cupcake party.
I altered a tea box, teabag tags and made some teacup cupcake pics and postcard invitation.
This is the wooden tea box I started with.
Here it is finished. I covered the box with CS Wonderland Creative Scraps, stamped and cut out the banner and attached it.
Here the box is open with the tea bags inside and the tags I made with the cute tickets that are on the scraps.
The handle is a silver plated spoon that I glued to the top with E6000. I made the tea stained flower out of 2 paper doilies.
I covered the bowl of the spoon with Glossy Accents and sprinkled on glitter to make it look like sugar.
I cut the teacups out of the Wonderland Tea Creative Scraps, glued toothpicks on the back and stuck them in the mini cupcakes.
I cut out the menu and attached it to the postcard with a foam dot.
Supplies: Stamps - CS Artsy Banner. Paper - CS Pastel Paper Pad. Ink - Ranger Distress Antique Linen. Acces. - CS Wonderland Tea Creative Scraps, silver feet by Provo Craft (retired, you can get feet here), silver plated spoon (flea market), wooden tea box (flea market), Martha Crystal Course Glitter, tea bags, Ranger Snow Cap Paint Dabber, toothpicks, vintage buttons, tea dye, Tim Holtz Ornate Plates, Making Memories sentiment tile, seam binding, May Arts ribbon, paper doilies. Tools - Wonder Tape, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, Glossy Accents.
Be sure and check out the other designers blogs to see their eye candy!
Check out the Crafty Secrets blog too, Sandy always has some fun give-aways!
Have a great week, maybe you can have a tea party!
OCL53 - Photo Inspiration
TGIF!
The weather has been beautiful the last couple of days, in the 70's, I hope that groundhog was right! But, we do have blackberry winter to go through, it freezes right before the blackberries bloom, mmmmm, warm blackberry cobbler.
OK- on to the Our Craft Lounge Friday Challenge.
This week it's a photo challenge. I copied the picture as far as the flowers and color of the flowers. To me, this is more of a clean card, no distressing or shabby-ness. The tim holtz and Websters Papes pattern papers are vintage though :) I put some Eyeliner Black Sparkly Fluff on the grey flower centers. I colored the centers of the green flowers with my Copic marker and decided I didn't like it, so, I covered them up with punched circles and black Kaiser Rhinestones, I like!
I hope you can play along, we've been having some fun, check out The Lounge for the details on how you can be a winner of an OCL stamp set of your choice!
.......There are some OCL sneak peeks and a blog hop going on next week...you will LOVE the new sets coming out, stay tuned.......
Supplies: Stamps - OCL Pretty Petals & Say it with Flowers. Paper - Neenah Solar White & black cardstock, tim holtz Vintage Shabby Paper Stash, Webster Pages Lullaby Lane & Life's Portrait Petite Papers. Ink - Ranger Distress Black Soot, Copic markers. Little Girls ~ Crafty Secrets
Happy Monday!
Did you have a good weekend? We got more snow Friday so that kept me home on Saturday, I didn't want to risk heading out to my mom's, too many winding roads between me and her. I've been fighting a cold for a few days, I think I'm on a downhill slide with it now!
I've got a super sweet little girl to show you. Sandy has done it again, another amazing Crafty Secrets set called Little Girls. It's a medium set filled with sweet little girlie things!
Look at her. Look at that sweet little sweater and skirt. A-dorable!
Her little outfit is perfect for paper piecing.
I used the checkerboard stamp from the Farm Chicks stamp set and Tim Holtz Checkerboard Texture Fade on the white cardstock, perfect match!
I punched some pink & white crepe paper to make the flower. I stacked them and stapled them together in the center with my Tiny Attacher, then I crumpled it up and fussed with it some and I dabbed on some glue and glitter. I like!
Supplies: Stamps - CS Little Girls & Farm Chicks. Paper - Neenah Solar White & pink cardstock, Bittersweet by Basic Grey. Ink - Ranger Distress Walnut Stain, Antique Linen, Copic markers. Acces. - Kaiser Pearls, pink & white crepe paper, glitter, button, white string, plastic rose, Martha pink twill. Tools - Tim Holtz Checkerboard Texture Fade, Spellbinders Classic Oval (LG), Big Scalloped Ovals (SM), Martha lace border punch, SU scalloped punch, stipple brush, sewing machine, blending tool.
I hope y'all have a great week!
