I decided in my rush to stamp with retiring stamps I would use the gorgeous iris stamp. This SU! set, Still Life Stems retired before I even used it, geeeez. This set is not going anywhere!
The 3 stamps in the set are big, so I made a long tall card. The patterned paper is from the 6x6 paper pad Hannah, by K & Co. I decided to use some of my new Martha Stewart glitter, Brownstone, on the paper. I used my Quickie Glue Pen and just outlined the patterns on the bottom piece of the patterned paper. Then I sprinkled on the brown glitter, mmmmm, LOVE this brown glitter!
I stamped the iris with Stazon Timber Brown on Confetti White CS and colored with SU! Certainly Celery and Rose Red classic ink and a blender pen. I shaded around the iris with a Sahara Sand marker. I wrote "iris" along the stem with my Chocolate Chip marker. I then sponged the edges of the CS and paper with walnut ink by Ranger. I used some cuttled pieces of Chocolate Chip CS that I had using the Tiny Bubbles embossing folder from Eclectic Paperie and layered behind the image. I added a spiral clip and brad from my HodgePodge Hardware, Aged Copper kit and attached some burgundy velvet ribbon. I put the label holder on the bottom and stamped "cherish" from SU!'s Warm Words set.
I hope y'all have a wonderful day!
