blue santa, Christmas balls, juicer and lamp

This Crafty Secret's Santa is my favorite Santa image evah!! There is just something about vintage Santa's and this one is just the way I picture Santa IRL *grin*. You can get this Vintage Christmas set from Crafty Secrets, Sassy & Sweet Crafts or ePaperie.

I cut an oval in the patterned paper from the Earthy Paper Pad and I cut a smaller oval from artichoke CS and layered it behind the patterned paper. I used a file from my Basic Grey file kit to rough up and curl the artichoke oval, I sprinkled on some yellow gold glitter. I sprayed the card with Snowflake Glimmer Mist. I stamped the Santa on vellum CS and colored the backside with Copic markers, I used Brilliance Moonlight White on Santa's hair and beard.

I did a little shopping Saturday. I got these little Christmas balls at a shop in Heber Springs. I got the old juicer at a yard sale, cool huh? The pink lamp is a vintage headboard lamp that you hang over the top of your headboard to read by. I have it hanging on a shelf in my stamp room. I remember my grandma had one of these. I love it!

OK, the Santa card is TO DIE FOR!!! I love all the little elements that make it come together as one perfect project!
My mom had one of those headboard lights (not nearly this cool though). I would always hear her pull the chain to turn it off when I came home at night. Always the worry wort she was! lol
