Springtime card, a cute chick, work & week 2 March Mix!

Good Monday morning! It has been so warm the last few days, just like Spring and I'm loving it! It got up to 80 yesterday, but, the forecast says back down to freezing the end of this week, UGH! It's easy to tell that Spring is around the corner, the trees are budding and blooming, the daffodils are blooming, ohhhhh, what a great feeling!

I made this card using the new Hello Spring stamp set from Our Craft Lounge. I love the ladybug in this set and there are so many cute flowers to play with! I did some masking here with the flowers and I stamped, colored and cut out the ladybug and popped her up with foam dots.

I went to my mom's Saturday and went to one of my fave antique stores. I got this cute chicken, she's a marbled plastic. The owner said she bought a chicken collection from a lady and this cutie was part of it!
You press down on her back, she raises her wings and lays an egg, I cracked up when I saw that! There are 3 white marbles inside her for lots of egg laying fun, LOL! I bought this to send to a friend, she has a little rooster that might need a friend
