Good Morning!
TGIF and a long weekend at that, WOOHOO, I'm so ready for it!
It's Our Craft Lounge DT challenge Friday.
I made this weeks card using the Flower Power stamp set. I had to have this set when I saw it. It really brought back memories for me! The peace signs, lava lamps, incense, black light posters, tie-dye, elephant leg jeans, I could go on and on, but I won't!
This would be the perfect set to make cards for your friends and family if they were a product of the 60's and 70's.
I stamped one of the peace signs in the set and cut it out, then I glued on the tiny Prima flowers. The flowers were a cream color, I didn't want that so I colored them all with my Copic marker, YR04. I punched the border on the bottom of the card with my Martha Stewart flower border punch. I didn't punch all the way to the edges so the bottom piece would stay in place with the white CS showing through. I really liked the look.
The background is stamped with some of the single flowers in the set. I love to use the tiny stamps in the OCL sets for backgrounds.
