OCLDT20 ~ Flower Power

Good Morning!
TGIF and a long weekend at that, WOOHOO, I'm so ready for it!
It's Our Craft Lounge DT challenge Friday.
I made this weeks card using the Flower Power stamp set. I had to have this set when I saw it. It really brought back memories for me! The peace signs, lava lamps, incense, black light posters, tie-dye, elephant leg jeans, I could go on and on, but I won't! Smiley from
This would be the perfect set to make cards for your friends and family if they were a product of the 60's and 70's.

I stamped one of the peace signs in the set and cut it out, then I glued on the tiny Prima flowers. The flowers were a cream color, I didn't want that so I colored them all with my Copic marker, YR04. I punched the border on the bottom of the card with my Martha Stewart flower border punch. I didn't punch all the way to the edges so the bottom piece would stay in place with the white CS showing through. I really liked the look.
The background is stamped with some of the single flowers in the set. I love to use the tiny stamps in the OCL sets for backgrounds.
You need to head on over to The Lounge to check out the details on how you can win an OCL stamp set!
