Crafty Secrets New Product DT Challenge

It's Crafty Secrets DT challenge time again!
This month we are focusing on new Crafty Secrets product, and believe me there's a bunch of new product!
I decided to alter this frame I got on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I used the new double sided Creative Scraps Birds & Blossoms to cover the frame and the wooden bird in the corner.

The sweet smiling faces are my granddaughters.

I used the new Dahlia stamp set to make my flower bouquet on the bottom right. I stamped the flower on patterned paper 6 times, cut them out and layered them, and then I gave them a good coat of Glimmer Mist. I used a small wooden flower pot, a half of a flower pot I picked up at a flea market. I painted it with Picket Fence Crackle Paint. I painted the inside edge of the frame next to the picture with the Crackle Paint too. It started flaking off, I really loved that look, but, it was flaking too much so I painted on some Mod Podge so it wouldn't flake completely off.

The center of the yellowish flower is a vintage earring. I took the clip off the back with my jewelry pliers and glued it on with E6000.
The wooden bird is from Hobby Lobby. I covered it with the Birds & Blossoms scraps and distressd it with Antique Linen ink.
Supplies: Stamps - CS Dahlia. Paper - Websters Pages Petite Papers Collection Pack Seaside Retreat, Garden Gals & Nature's Storybook. Ink - Ranger Distress Black Soot & Antique Linen. Acces. - frame, CS Creative Scraps Birds & Blossoms, wooden bird & flower pot, Ranger Distress Crackle Paint Picket Fence, Mod Podge, Glimmer Mist Iridescent Gold, rick rack, seam binding, buttons, vintage earring. Oh, I love the flowers with the button centers. My mom raised the most gorgeous dahlias when I was a girl...I'm going to have to get that stamp.
