It's Crafty Secrets DT challenge time again!
This month we are focusing on new Crafty Secrets product, and believe me there's a bunch of new product!
I decided to alter this frame I got on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I used the new double sided Creative Scraps Birds & Blossoms to cover the frame and the wooden bird in the corner.
The sweet smiling faces are my granddaughters.
I used the new Dahlia stamp set to make my flower bouquet on the bottom right. I stamped the flower on patterned paper 6 times, cut them out and layered them, and then I gave them a good coat of Glimmer Mist. I used a small wooden flower pot, a half of a flower pot I picked up at a flea market. I painted it with Picket Fence Crackle Paint. I painted the inside edge of the frame next to the picture with the Crackle Paint too. It started flaking off, I really loved that look, but, it was flaking too much so I painted on some Mod Podge so it wouldn't flake completely off.
The center of the yellowish flower is a vintage earring. I took the clip off the back with my jewelry pliers and glued it on with E6000.
The wooden bird is from Hobby Lobby. I covered it with the Birds & Blossoms scraps and distressd it with Antique Linen ink.

Hi Pam.
What a lovely altered frame and a beautiful showcase for those two cuties in the photo!
I adore the new Crafty Secrets flower stamps and your layering technique is great. Oh-la-la!
Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely GORGEOUS! Very inspirational!
Your frame is lovely! (Almost as cute as your grandbabies!)
LOVE the frame! I wasn't sure about the dahlia stamp, but I love what you've done with it!!!!
And your granddaughters are so sweet!!
Oh, I love the flowers with the button centers. My mom raised the most gorgeous dahlias when I was a girl...I'm going to have to get that stamp.
Mind boggling, as always! LOVE it. You and vintage = the perfect pair!
Hi Pam, silly me, until I read your blog post I didn't even realize you used our new Dahlia stamp set to make your flowers on the frame. The flowers and frame turned out fantastic!
