Smile!

When I saw the Petal Pushers set from SU! was retiring I wanted to use it. Why do I think I need to hurry up and use retiring sets? After all, I always keep the ones I love. This set has been one of my fav's, the flowers are perfect for cutting out and putting on cards. I sent these two cards out to a couple of ladies that could use a smile Ü.

I used the Palette paper pad from SU!, chocolate chip and so saffron cardstock on the saffron card, brown rick rack for the stems and brown eyelets that are in the top corner and at the end of the "e" in smile. The rose red card is rose red and basic black cardstock with black eyelets and black rick rack. I stamped the flower and stamped it again without reinking to get the lighter shade and cut them out. I punched two flowers with SU!'s Daisy punch for the center and punched the circles with the 1/2" circle punch for each flower on the card. I adhered the flowers and the stems with E6000, I wanted to make sure they didn't fall off!

I got the rick rack from Cindy at Starlit Studio the store.

My daughter and SIL are moving into their new house today in Conway, it will be a busy day. I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of cuddling with Jasmine and Jayde Ü

I hope y'all have a smiley, cuddly kind of day!!
