Special Delivery!

My daughter wanted me to make her some baby announcements. I saw the Cuttlebug bow frame embossing folder in Joy & Daisy's store, Eclectic Paperie, and I new I wanted to use it. I thought I would emboss it on Whisper White cardstock and layer it on Pretty in Pink cardstock. After playing some, I decided I would do a simple all white card with a touch of pink, very clean and simple. Simple is always the way to go when you are mass producing! To emboss the card I took the whole card and put the front on the inside of the folder and closed the card on the back of the folder, KWIM?, then I put it through the Cuttlebug. I used my Quickie glue pen and added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the frame and put a pink crystal in the center of the bow. I stamped the swirly flower from SU!'s Doodle That set with Pretty in Pink classic in the bottom right corner and the sentiment (with Close to Cocoa) and dots with PaperTrey Ink's Faux Ribbon set. The inside is stamped with the heart and flower from the Doodle That set and the baby details stamp from Wordsworth. I got the pink satin edged organdy ribbon at my LSS at their going out of business sale :( I ran out (the horror) and finished up the cards with the light pink polka dot organdy. I couldn't decide which ribbon I liked best after I had them done, so I thought I would share both Ü

I took the picture while they were still in the hospital and it's one of my fav's. I thought I would print them in black and white, but decided I would print them in color to add some more color to the white card. I wanted to show off her pretty dark hair too Ü. I punched them out with my SU! 1 3/8" square punch and adhered them inside the frame.

I'm soooo in love with this little bundle of sweetness, she's a doll!

Happy Mothers Day!!
