I went on a little adventure a couple of weeks ago. There is some land by where my daughter lives that is leased for hunting. It has this very old abandoned house on it. Me and my daughter decided we would go and see the house, we were told about it and wanted to check it out. The house was left with stuff in it. I have always loved this kind of thing. Whenever I had a chance to go through an old house like this I jumped at it!!
I picked up a few things around, to me they are treasures, to someone else...not so much, LOL!
They needed a lot cleaning and bleaching, but, now they sparkle! The poor Cupie doll was dirt-y!! I couldn't take her clothes off, they were sewn on, so I just threw the doll in the washer with bleach, now she's like new, she's in an old snuff glass. Look at the Bingo cards, red, WOOHOO, I'll have to make some Lisa Z ornaments!! The green Jadite bowl has a hairline crack in it, so no eating cereal out of it, but, it's perfect for buttons!
I hope your Thursday is a good one, thanks for stopping by!

Oh my GAWD, Piris. What a cool adventure!! Sounds like so much fun, but I can't believe you didn't go in after the chair. Or make *someone* go in for you! LOL!! :)
Pam, I just love your warm vintage card! Thanks for showing such good pictures of the CS scraps, too. I've never really gotten a good look at them before. So cute! I love just the sort of thing you discovered with the old house. It's like stepping into the past--much more real than a museum set up. How fun!
darling image and card, love how you used the brads....love hearing of your adventure too, that is the kind of thing I love coming upon too!
What a sweet card! Love your little treasures from the old house!
Just my kind of day, what treasures you have found. Love your chickie card too. Enjoy!
