Crafty Secrets & Tattered Angels March Mix!

Crafty Secrets and Tattered Angels are combining design teams and product to share this month!! How fun is that? Every Monday in March a few from each design team will upload a project we've made using Crafty Secrets and Tattered Angels products! This is one time I'll be looking forward to Mondays, LOL!!

This is the first week, me and these girls Heidi Blankenship, Sally Lynn MacDonald, Michelle Van Etten and Vivian Peters will be uploading today, check them out! Go check out the Crafty Secrets Blog & The Tattered Angels Blog too!
I decided to make a little hanging piece for my mom. The picture is of her and my new grandson William. Me and mom were visiting them a couple of weeks ago and I took a few pictures, this was one of my faves, he was sound asleep on her shoulder.

The base piece is from the Crafty Secrets Sweet Chips Chipboard Square Album and Frames. I laid one of the Glimmer Screens on the chipboard and sprayed away with my Glimmer Mist, I made layers and sprayed in different spots, it was SO easy and fun combining the glimmery colors!! I made the flower using papers from the Classic Paper Pad, I die cut the flower layers with my flowers, daisies #2 die with my Big Shot. I layered them, curled up the edges and sprayed them with my Glimmer Mist, if you look close you can see all the glimmer!

I covered the chipboard heart with paper and soaked it with Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist and then I stamped it with the sentiment from the Baby Boy stamp set from Crafty Secrets.

The dangly piece at the bottom is a little wooden block with a W on it. I painted it, drilled a tiny hole in it and threaded it with some linen thread and then I strung Prima flowers on it. Out came the Glimmer Mist, and I spritzed it up! If you click on the pictures they should get bigger so you can see them better.

Here is a picture of the Crafty Secrets & Tattered Angels products I used on my project, I think these 2 companies go so well together, don't you?!
Remember to check back every Monday in March, I'll have each group listed on my blog on the next 3 Mondays so you don't miss anything!

Have a fantabulous Monday, thanks for stopping by!

Stunning and adorable. I am sure that your mom will cherish and remember this special moment with her grandson.

You have added a lot of details in this piece of art. Love the flower you created and all the glimmer just adds a perfect touch to it all. What a wonderful way to combine the 2 products.
