OCL Blog Hop ~ Valentine Release!

Smiley from millan.net
It's Our Craft Lounge Blog Hop Day!!

Oh man, what fun this is going to be! There are 13 new OCL stamp sets that are being released and 1 of each of those sets is going to be given away. I'll tell ya how to have a chance to win this set below... This is the set I'm giving away, Out for a Spin!, illustrated by Debbie Corbari Don't you just love this set? Bicycles are so popular in art right now and this is so fun, it has the cutest little stamps you can put on the bike handle bars and behind the seat. The sentiments make this set perfect for Valentines Day, birthdays and just a friend or thinking of you card!
I have 2 cards to share today, here's the 1st...

The papers I used on this card are MME Ooh LaLa, I love these papers, fun colors! I inked up the little Prima flowers with Copic markers to match the paper. I put pearls in the center of each flower. I put a large silver eyelet in the bike wheel.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My next card is a birthday card. I put the flower basket on the handlebars and added some Glossy Accents on the flower centers. The present on the back has Crafty Sparkles Ice Crystals on it. The little Happy Birthday banner is cut out and popped up with a foam dot.
Again, I put a large silver eyelet in the front wheel. Everything is colored with Copic markers of course! The papers are the yummy Cosmo Cricket Early Bird Mini Deck.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

OK, here's what you need to do ~ comment on this post and tell me about your fave bicycle!
PLEASE, leave your contact email on your post so I can contact you if you're the winner!

Mine was a blue bike with a cool banana seat, perfect for toting my best friend on, oh yeah! Later on I had a 10 speed, that was stolen right out of our garage......pffffft.

Go check out the other teams posts and get 12 more chances to win one of the Valentine Release sets! Commenting will end tonight Friday, November 20th at 11:00pm central time. Don't miss out! Then you can hop on over to eclecticPaperie to purchase your fave sets!

What a fun set and wonderful samples! My favorite bike was a 10 speed yellow bike that I saved my babysitting money to buy. Sad to say, the first time I took it out, I went around a corner and crashed into a sreet sign and dented it, lol!

I love this bicycle! My favorite bike was a little red one like you have here...only one day as a little kid I left it behind my moms car and she ran over it. I need a new one and this one would do just fine!

Wow! Love your cards and this set is absolutely adorable! My favourite bicycle would have to be my Tim Hortons Schwinn which I won in the Roll Up the Rim contest! It's really cute and reminds me of Peewee Herman's bicycle!

Sweet samples from an adorable stamp set - love your playful colours!

My fave bike would have to be the big yellow banana-seated, streamer-bedecked behemoth I proudly rode in the mid-seventies...that beast ROCKED, LOL!

I love this set!! It's sooo cute! My favorite bicycle would be the one my parents bought for me. I was about 6 years old and we bought it from another family. I remember going to their house to pick it up. It was blue with a white banana set (remember those). I wonder when those seats will come back in style. I'd say it would be soon. Oooh I loved that bicycle. Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite bike was a 3 wheeled blue bike with a basket on front. We used to race it down a hill and skid to a stop. Of course the basket was cool for carrying all the important stuff.

I think out of all the sets I've seen so far on the hop, this one is my fav. Thats probably because I love to bysycle. DOn't have a cycle now but my fav cycle was a pink colored really girly one which I had back when I was in 3rd grade. I hated to sell it off cause I had grown too old for it. boo hoo. But anyway, I got a new one after that so it kinda made up for my "loss". lol

Oh my gosh Pam! Both of your cards are absolutely FABULOUS!!!!

Pam, you never fail to amaze me. Your art is great! My first bike was a blue metalic Schwinn. It had a banana seat and sissy bar. I rode that bike until I grew out of it. I don't know how many wrecks I had on that thing, but I have plenty of scars to show for it.

Amber (bambi64) said...

How cute! Love the primas in the basket. Who would a thunk? I'm gonna tell ya my favorite bike but don't worry about drawing my name ;) I would have to say my favorite bike was the tandom bike my husband and I rode off on from our wedding!

My favorite bike was a Schwin one speed that iused all the way through High School. I still have the bike but it is all rusted and not rideable. I wonder how much it would cost to refurbish it. Love your cards. The bike on the Early Girl paper is great.

I ALWAYS wanted a bike with a banana seat, but it just wasn't meant to be...I did have a baby blue Huffy with a basket on the front, and playing cards closepinned to the spokes so it sounds like a motorbike when you went down the hill!

Geez, Pam, these are so cool! From the eyelet wheel centers, to the polka dotted chain covers (matching the ribbon no less!) and the beautiful dimensional elements, everything is perfect!

Debbie Corbari said...

Holy SMOKES Pam! You consistently blow me away!! I ADORE that eyelet in the bike wheel...I'll be doing that from now on! And those primas!!! Really, there is nothing you could do that I wouldn't like. You are AMAZING!

oh, I love all the fun things you can put on your bike! Super card you made! My favorite bike is my DH's because he loves to ride it so much and it makes him so happy. I am too clumsy to ride a bike so I will live vicariously!

Amanda R said...

My favorite bike was an old blue Schwinn with a wire basket on the front and back and the back one collapsed. I always thought it would be cute to get my groceries in it and ride it home but apparently groceries are a lot heavier than I thought when I tried it...once!

Wowza...these are great. Beautiful fun cards. Love the stamp set too. Looks like such a fun set with all those accessories...even a kickstand! My fav bike was an old hand-me-down. No hand brakes, just back pedal to stop. Clothes pen with a card clipped on the spokes to make the motor sound. Those were the days. Loved that bike.

AShu93 said...

I love the colors you used in the first card!

I never had a bike growing up but a few years ago I bought one for riding on the trails in my favorite color of green.

Pam,
This set is so cute and I love the way you made the card. Wow my favorite bike, I don't think I can remember that far back its almost 55 years ago so let's just say now its an exercise bike. LOL

Ok, this set is super cute. My fave bike also had a banana seat with the cool y shaped handle bars (I can't remember what they were called.) It was purple and I had purple and silver strand thingys hanging from the end of the handle bars and my banana seat had the tall bar that came up the back. It was so super cool! Loved it, wish I still had it.

I like your #1 card best. They are all neat!
My favorite bike is each one I've ever had. Right now, my favorite is the one with the wheels forward so I can touch the ground when I stop.

These are so pretty, I especially love the birthday banner attached to the handle bars, too fun!! Great coloring!
I always had hand me down bikes, I am the 5th child, but when I was a teen I got my own red 3 speed, and thought that was pretty cool!
