Love You Mother ~ Crafty Secrets

I think it's turned summer here, in a hurry!! We're supposed to be in the 90's all week. My lunch time walks are going to be lunch time saunas! ugh.

Me and Terry took a little trip last weekend. We went to Hardy and did some flea marketing and then we went on to Branson and stayed 2 nights and did some shopping. We ate at a very nice Mexican Restaurant, I can never remember the name of it, but, we eat there every time we go to Branson, it's in Branson Landing. The next night we ate at Joe's Crab Shack in Branson Landing, yummmmm. We took the Titanic tour in Branson, it was interesting seeing all of the artifacts and hearing the stories, so sad. We went to the Tanger outlets, Gap, Old Navy, Disney, Ralph Lauren, Fossil, Coach, twice, they were having a 30% off sale, just sayin' Ü

Here are the flea market goodies I got. Some Shiny Brite Christmas ornaments, a tiny hot water bottle, I've never seen one this small. I'll use it to keep something or someone small, warm Ü. An old film reel. I'll use pieces of the film on projects. An old hammer to flatten my spoons with. An old spoon. A bag of tiny Disney ornaments I'll use in projects. An empty bottle of Old Spice, I'll probably use for a vase. Some old cookie cutters. Old tatted trim. A small Fenton hobnail milkglass dish.

After we left Branson we drove to Eureka Springs, another fave spot of mine, to look around. I found a new shop, Just Between Friends, that carries Pandora and I mean she has it all! *swoon*

Here's a sweet bird and nest stamp from the new Crafty Secrets Love You Mother stamp set. Look at the tiny crown stamp, how cute is that?!

I stamped the bird on a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock with Ranger Distress Walnut Stain ink and colored it in with my Copic markers. I stamped the dogwood blooms, colored them, cut them out and popped them up with foam adhesive. I dotted the centers of the flowers with Lemon Yellow Liquid Pearls. I used my paper distresser to rough up the edges a bit. The patterned paper is Webster's Pages Lullaby Lane & Lifes portrait combo pack. I colored the white seam binding with my Ranger Distress Stains in Antique Linen and Broken China. The main image and sentiment are distressed with more Distress Ink in Antique Linen and my blending tool.
I used a corner punch by ek Success and the jumbo scallop die by MFT.

Isn't the sentiment pretty? Sandy always finds the best ones to go along with her vintage images!

I hope you have a great day!

Sweet card, love that image and your coloring, that sentiment is great with it too!
What fun finds, I love going to flea markets myself, I only visited the stamp store while there.
