embossed tag

Today I've got a tag to show you. I got some embossed tags in my order from Inspiration Emporium, they were embossed with clocks.

I don't know about you, but, I've got a little catch-all dish on my desk that I'll put odds & ends in. It's got buttons, flowers I've made, beads, small things. When I started this tag I got several of the items from that dish and used them. It feels good to be using stuff I've been moving around when I'm digging in my dish! Those items are the embossed key image from the Our Craft Lounge Under Lock & Key stamp set , the rosette and the tiny banner. Then I grabbed my bellie box and went to town!

I distressed the tag with Ranger Distress Broken China & Pumice Stone inks and my blending tool. I stamped the Our Craft Lounge Coastal Wishes lighthouse image with VersaMark & embossed it with black embossing powder, then I colored or more like scribbled the image with Copic markers G82, E31, W1 & W3, I was going for a water colored look. I distressed the edges with my distress tool and inked the edges with Black Soot ink. I covered the number 3 with book paper and Glossy Accents. I glued the rosette to a piece of punched book paper and glued it to the tag. All of the metal embellishments are ideaology fasteners & findings. The T is for time/Troy, my brother.
