Easter tag journaled

Remember the tag I did on this post?
I said I'd probably start putting my not so bumpy, lumpy tags I make in my art journal?
this is it....
I tried out some new supplies I got recently, Tim's classis faves #6, around the border of the page (looks like Inspiration Emporium's out of stock right now, but, you can contact them to be added to the list), some faber-castell water color pencils and some liquitex molding paste, mixed media goodness I got at Hobby Lobby!
You can click the link above to see the supply list for the tag.
I glued the 7gypsies paper to the page with Claudine Hellmuth's multi-medium matte then I stamped the borders with Archival coffee ink on to white cardstock. Before I glued that down I got some molding paste and added a little bit of pink sherbet paint from the paint dabber and mixed it up, looks like strawberry icing! Then I got out my plastic doily I got at a thrift store, someone took a lot of time to crochet around them. I got 5 of these I think for cheap and a couple of them were tore so I used it for my stencil, worked like a charm!
I laid down the stencil and scraped the molding paste on with an old plastic card and lifted it up, then I heat set it with my heat tool. I love the dimension!

I hope y'all have a beautiful Easter.
Were having a non-traditional Korean meal here, too bad my sister-in-law is not here to fix it for us, her cooking is just scrumptious!

Oh, how lovely it looks as a page... this couldn't be more perfectly timed - I'm about to try to embed some tags as part of my journal - wonderful inspiration, thank you!
