If you don't do Halloween, tell me how you decorate your house for fall. I'll use Random.org to pick the winner on Saturday night, August 16th.
GOOD LUCK!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here are some bottle caps I altered with images from the Halloween Image & Journal Notes Booklet. The images in this booklet are the sweetest vintage Halloween images, I'm so happy to be able to find all of these sweet images in one booklet!
I spray painted the bottle caps with black spray paint, punched the images & glued them in the caps. I cut some words from my old dictionary & glued them on the images along with some beads and tiny punched flowers with Stickles in the center of them. Then, I filled the caps with Glossy Accents, let them dry over night and I glued Tim Holtz pin balez and a magnet on their backs.
Supplies: Paper - Crafty Secrets Halloween Image & Journal Notes Booklet, scraps for punched flowers, vintage dictionary words. Acces. - bottle caps by Design Originals, black spray paint, circle & flower punches, copper Stickles, Tim Holtz Pin Balez, magnet, black cord, Ranger Glossy Accents, beads, E6000.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Here is a soldered necklace I made with an image from the Crafty Little Dolls Booklet. OMG, you should have seen me trying to solder the rings on the top and bottom.....this is the second soldering project I've done and the first time to solder the rings on.....just be glad you weren't around when I was doing that!!! LOL!

Supplies: Paper - Crafty Little Dolls Image & Journal Notes Booklet, vintage dictionary words. Acces. - Simply Swank soldering kit, ball chain, charm, crystal, pink German foil trim.

We've finally had rain and cooler temps, in the 90's, LOL, it does feel better. I'm not ready for cold temps though, nope!

I hope y'all have a great day, thanks for stopping by!

OMG I LOVE the bottle caps! I just bought some over the weekend and you have definitely inspired me!! The necklace is marvelous as well! Love the dictionary idea and will now be tearing up my house for one I don't use!

My favorite costume huh! I went to work one day dressed as Ursula the Seawitch from the Little Mermaid. I borrowed a costume from Actor's Theater in Louisville, did my hair straight up and sprayed it gray. Had my makeup just so so -- had so much fun. When I came home that evening, I stripped off the costume, wrapped up in a sheet and sat in the front yard to scare the kids as they came to the door. Had soooooo much fun! I know, BAD Sherry, BAD Sherry!

My favorite costume memory is when I wrapped my daughter up as a mummy one year. It took several rolls of medical gauze to get her wrapped from head to toe!! Thanks for the giveaway. Take Care - Robin

Your bottle caps are awesome!!! And so is this generous give away!!!
Funny Halloween story: My sister & I started dancing when we were 3 and 4 years old ... this produced many future halloween costumes! My baby brother is 15 yrs younger than I and once when I was taking my daughter and my brother trick or treating he decided to wear one of my old dance costumes ... tootoo and all! We got to about the 3rd house and he got his tootoo caught in the car door and riped it 3/4 of the way off ... he spent the rest of the night dragging the torn tootoo draped over his arm for sympathy and extra candy!! Believe it or not, it worked ... he got twice as much as my daughter did!!!

I have never been a huge Halloween fan but I do love to decorate for the holiday. I dont do anything fancy because I have two cats that LOVE to get into trouble! So, I put a nice wreath on the door and a few stuffed pumpkins inside the house.

Oh, what a fun chance to win those beautiful CS items -- LOVE their little booklets and Cotton Scraps!!! The items you made are all just wonderful!!! Well, I'm not into gory Halloween, but when my boys were little I used to LOVE to make them all Halloween costumes -- I think I've made just about every imaginable Halloween costume a child would wear!!! LOL!!! Oh, where do the days/years go!!!

I remember one year my mom made costumes for me and my sisters - we were the characters from the wizard of Oz. My mom is very creative/resourceful and has been an inspiration to me! As far as decorating I love fall colors and like to use gourds, pumpkins,ect. Thanks for the chance to play!

OMGOSH! THose bottlecaps are to die for!! Don't be surprised for 1 second when I totally CASE those fabulous suckers! What a brilliant idea! Thanks so much for giving such great detail and names of products you used! All of these are delightful projects! TFS!

My favorite Halloween memory remains to be when we would go over to my Papa and GramCracker's house, trick-or-treat their entire neighborhood and when we returned, Papa would taste test our candy to make sure it wasn't "poison"...only trouble was by the time he announced that all was ok to eat, all my mini-snickers and butterfingers were gone! :) luv my Papa...

There you guys go again giving out more goodies!
Very Creative projects Pam, as always!

One year I had decorated the whole front porch with Halloween decorations...including the white stretchy spider webbing. I decided to place some plastic spiders and rubber bats amongst the webbing. Well one night when I opened the front door I noticed that one of the rubber bats was moving. When I looked closer I discovered it wasn't rubber but a real bat that had gotten tangled. Creepy!

Pi you are something else! You inspire me so much!

My favorite Halloween costme was Little Red Ridinghood! It was a super easy costume and I didn't have makeup caked all over my face to get itchy! My cape was adorable and it had this little hoodie. Then I got to carry a basket of goodies around! LOL! Ah the memories!

Oooh, I love Halloween.....love to decorate for it!

My FAVORITE Halloween memory was a party a group of us threw in high school. Filled the tub with Jello - first person to pass out got hefted in and slept there. Poor Vince......his skin was slightly greenish for 2 days afterwards....we used lime jello! (Plus we put a LOT of makeup on him when he was out) LOL!! We were baaaaaaad! *wink*

I may have to try those bottle caps. I really like Halloween and those tickle my fancy.
My fav coustume was some my DIL and I made for her three boys. It was (always is) a tight year for $$ for coutumes so we decided to make the boys a coustume. They love Monsters, Inc. se we made 3 very cute monster outfits. We used sweat pants and tops and just taped and glued the parts together so when Halloween was over they could be disassembled and used for regular clothes. They were adorable. Wish I had a pic to share.

the bottle caps are so cool - i definitely want to play with them -- as for my favorite costume, as a kid i took dancing classes and every year my mom would make me wear the costume she had made for the recital in June as my Halloween outfit. my favorite was a light purple, multi-tiered dress with lots of bright purple sequin trim and a big "little bo peep" kinda hat -- think a blinged out Mother Goose character - scary huh??? LOL --

One year when the kids were little i went with them with a horribley altered face and costume. I got as much candy as they did. It was so much fun I think i was in my early 20's then. I love those bottle caps. Now when my grandson finds some ( he is autistic) and he has a thing for them I know what to do with them. I just love those caps, Susan

I love the bottle cap necklace. I will be ordering the Crafty Secrets Halloween notes so I can make these for my nieces!

My favorite costume...well at least the one I put the most angst into. I couldn't think of a costume and I saw a great idea on a DIY type show. I wore a sweatshirt and glued creal boxes all over it and went as....a "cereal" killer!!

I thought I was so clever. Well...turns out I wasn't so clever after all. 2 other guests showed up in the same costume!

Your bottle caps are awesome, Pam! I'll definitely have to try this!

My favorite costume was one I wore about 20 years ago! I was Pebbles - you know, from the Flintstones! My hair was on the top of my head with a bone through it! I wore a tiny leopard print outfit, over one shoulder with a torn looking hemline. And I carried a huge plastic bone! So much fun!

How unique with the bottle caps! Thanks for sharing!! I just love those booklets!

The Halloween costume I remember quite vividly is one where I wore one of those plastic masks (the the rubber band behind it that ALWAYS got stuck in your hair!) It was a snoopy mask and my Mom handmade a white one piece outfit with black spots on it. I was like 10 years old... When I look at it now, I just shake my head...but I KNEW I loved it then!

I love those projects! I dressed as a hockey player one year, which is really completely opposite of anything I've ever gone as, which was interesting...all that gear in the South Louisiana heat was not a good combination. There's a reason it's played on ice, I can tell you that much! Thanks for the chance to win!

My most interesting Halloween costume was a bunch of grapes. I blew up green balloons and attached them to a brown t'shirt. The costume looked exactly like a bunch of a grapes---only problem was I could not sit down or fit thru doorways.

What a neat idea to get your words from an old dictionary..I will have to rescue some old beat up ones from the classroom at school.
I think my best hallowe'en costume was the year I transformed a purple sweat suit into a bunch of grapes by fastening large purple balloons to the top. I made a simple cap out of purple crepe paper for my head and was able to transport the costume to school in the back seat of my car. It took a little negotiation to slip into the sweatshirt with all of the balloons already inflated but it was quite original...just not the easiest thing to teach in!!

Love your bottle caps, it is still amazing to me to make creations that small. I still haven't tried the soldering, love your little necklace you came up with!
My favorite costume was when I went as a 50's girl, I went off one of my mothers old photographs, felt so cool!

Love the bottle caps and necklace..haven't tried that yet!
My favorite custome was from a few years ago, when I went as the woman (whose name I forget now) from the movie The Birds! I found a suit just like the one she wore at a thrift store, and bought small black crows at Joannes..glues them to my shoulder, hair, one on my shoe, ripped my stockings, bandaged my head..it was awesome...my sisters also used that costume at parties they went to! Fun memories!

I love your bottle caps-very clever, especially the witch one!
Costume....one Halloween, when I was working in a dental office, I changed into a witch costume at lunch....wig, make-up, the whole 9 yards. I then went around (kind of hunched over) to all of the other offices in our building (now all of these people knew me) and scared paople 1/2 to death...no one knew who I was. It was great...got a lot of laughs when they realized it was just me! But until they did, there were some very nervous people!
Love the journaling booklets!

ooohohhh those bottle cap necklaces are adorable!!!!

My favourite costume was actually a cow costume, udders and all. I loved it so much, I wore it for 3 years in a row straight, starting at 13. I even had an old cow bell to go around my neck, painted my face white, witha black spot.

We used to dress up as bums/hobos and my mom would rub cigarette ashes on our faces to make us look dirty. I am not kidding! My husband thinks this is hideous, but he was raised by non smoking church goers. I was raised by chain smoking atheists who made their own wine.

My husband and I had to dress up as a famous pair for a halloween party. I went as a roll of Charmin toilet paper and he was Mr. Whipple! I got motion sickness from having to keep turning around while my husband was rolling the toilet paper around my body! We won for most unique couple.

Well...I don't know if it was my favorite costume, but it was one of my most memorable....I dressed up as Cleopatra...pretty exotic with makeup and clothes....my "date" was an Egyptian with a turban on his head...it was an "after" Halloween party....BUT...when we got there...we were the only 2 dressed up!!!! HE took his turban OFF...I was then the only one dressed up....and I found out it was his EX-GIRLFRIEND'S party! HMMMMMMMMM....so needless to say...I'm not much for costume parties anymore!

By the way....I LOVE Crafty Secrets....their product line is one of my favorites! Cute bottle caps!!!

I love Halloween and everything about it. The trick or treaters, decorations, etc. Your bottle caps are too cute! The giveaway prize package is amazing. I was scared to death of Halloween costumes as a young girl. Every time our doorbell would ring, I would run and hide behind my bedroom door. Please enter me in your delightful drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

Hello I love the vintage images, so cute. I really want the christmas booklet to make christmas decorations ( with your help of course, LOL).
About 2 years ago when my brother was 4 my mom made him a robot costume out of a cardboard box and PVC pipe. I was so cute only problem was he couldnt bent his arms and legs to walk so the costume did not last long LOL.

My favorite Halloween costume- hmm-there are lots of them but one year I went as a Christmas present.Very easy-I just wrapped a large box with holes cut out for my head and arms and had a big ribbon bow on my head.Was really cheap to do -the only problem was everyone kept setting their drinks on me all night lol!

I decorate my house (inside) with the Dept 56 Halloween houses. I put them out around Oct 1st and each year I try to add some new pieces. Outside I do lights - orange and purple. I also have a lighted spider web and I put a wooden Frankenstein on my porch.

Our friends got married on Halloween, a few years back, and everyone had to be dressed up. It was alot of fun. My husband and I were pirates. The bride and groom wore cheap plastic bride and groom costumes. It was really funny.

My favorite costume was the first Halloween we had in our first home. My husband applied theatrical make-up on my face and hands to look like a wicked witch. I sat in a rocking chair with a cauldron of dry ice at my feet. Scared so many kids (not purposly, mind you) that we had more than 50% of our candy left over.
